Bring a can (or 2) of food for those less fortunate! We’ll build a tower!

Please join us in Miller Hall (our large upstairs meeting room) at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6 for our first Quarterly Meeting of 2025! After a brief but important business meeting, we’ll welcome representatives from three key recipients of our Outreach Grants who all focus on food insecurity in Transylvania County. The Bread of Life, Hunger Coalition and Sharing House will share with us what they individually focus on, but more importantly, how they are working together to address the needs of the underserved in our community. There are truly exciting things happening and the Program Committee is pleased to be able to provide this forum for our membership to hear what is happening, how we are supporting these efforts and what we can do to expand the work of these amazing organizations. There will be a presentation component to the session, but then plenty of time for your questions, discussions and input on how we all move forward. We’ll finish with some social time together! Please join us and support these critical organizations! If you don’t want to lug a can of food, we’ll have a donation basket!
