St. Philip's welcomes everyone to journey through Holy Week and celebrate our Lord's Resurrection! All these services are held at 256 E. Main St. in Brevard, NC. Those marked with an asterisk (*) are also livestreamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Palm Sunday, April 13

8:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist. The service begins inside the church.

* 10:30 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist,  with the Chancel Choir. The service begins in front of the parish hall doors on Main Street with the Liturgy of the Palms, and then moves inside the church.

Wednesday in Holy Week, April 16

10:30 a.m. Spoken Eucharist with Prayers for Healing

5:30 p.m. Contemplative Anointing Service with wisdom chant, readings, silence, and anointing of one another in Miller Hall, our large upstairs meeting room.

Maundy Thursday, April 17

* 5:30 p.m. Liturgy for Maundy Thursday with Holy Communion and the Washing of Feet. Includes music with the Chancel Choir.

Good Friday, April 18

* 12:00 p.m. Liturgy for Good Friday,  with the Chancel Choir.

The church, labyrinth, and contemplative path will be open for private prayer until 3:00 pm.

Easter Eve, Saturday, April 19

7:30 p.m. The Great Vigil of Easter. In this beautiful service, one of the oldest liturgies in the Christian church, we move from Holy Week into our first celebration of Easter with candles, prayers, readings and music. The service begins in front of the parish hall doors on Main Street with the Lighting of the New Fire, and moves into the church.

EASTER DAY, Sunday, April 20

(Note that these service times are different from our usual Sunday schedule!)

7:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist at the Labyrinth,  located outdoors behind the church. Bring your lawnchairs!

8:30 a.m. Easter Festival Eucharist with Choir and Brass

10:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt - All children through 5th grade are invited. Bring your own basket and meet in the back parking lot at the gate to the playground. (There will be separate areas for younger and older children, and extra baskets for children who need them.)

* 11:00 a.m. Easter Festival Eucharist with Choir and Brass.
