Christian Social Concerns Committee Needs You!

You are invited (and urgently needed) to come check out Christian Social Concerns. We are a devoted little group and promise never to bore you or waste your time. CSC is one of three outreach wings at St. Philip’s. We focus on lending a hand to neighbors in need, building a stronger interfaith community, and working in cooperation with local service providers.

Many of you already help with some of our initiatives, all of which are carefully designed to provide maximum impact with bursts of hard work and minimum long-term requirements, including Laundry Day, Power Up!, red wagon donations, school closets, emergency relief following local crises, as well as support for Habitat for Humanity, the Haven, Sharing House, Camp Henry, Justice Ministry, and El Centro, to name a few!

Our members individually stay engaged throughout the local service community. We welcome your ideas, experience, connections, and commitment. Please come join us on the fourth Thursday of each month, 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the YAC (our large downstairs meeting room). We look forward to sharing your energy and participation!
