All are welcome at these Holy Week and Easter services and events

St. Philip's welcomes everyone to journey through Holy Week and celebrate our Lord's Resurrection! All these services are held at 256 E. Main St. in Brevard, NC. Those marked with an asterisk (*) are also livestreamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.


Palm Sunday, March 24

8:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist. The service begins in front of the parish hall doors on Main Street and then move inside the church.

Wednesday in Holy Week, March 27

10:30 a.m. Spoken Eucharist with Prayers for Healing


Maundy Thursday, March 28

* 5:30 p.m. Liturgy for Maundy Thursday with Holy Communion and the Washing of Feet


Good Friday, March 29

* 12:00 p.m. Liturgy for Good Friday

From 12:00-3:00 pm, the church, labyrinth, and contemplative path will be open for private prayer.


Easter Eve, Saturday, March 30

7:30 p.m. The Easter Vigil. The service begins in front of the parish hall doors on Main Street and moves into the church.

An Alleluia Celebration in Miller Hall will follow the liturgy.

 

EASTER DAY, Sunday, March 31

(Note the special service times!)


7:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist at the Labyrinth (bring your lawnchairs!)


8:30 a.m. Easter Festival Eucharist with choir and brass


10:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt - All children through 5th grade are invited - bring your own basket and meet in the back parking lot at the gate to the playground. (There will be separate areas for younger and older children, and extra baskets for children who need them.)


* 11:00 a.m. Easter Festival Eucharist with choir and brass
